So, how IB’s are earning money? It’s very simple! IB’s are introducing new clients to FX Grant. Clients open accounts and make trades. Simple as that, more clients you bring and more they trade, more commission you get! There are two usual types:
Flat fee
For every client opening new account you get % of the initial deposit it makes.
Percentage depends on the monthly performance and amount of trade’s clients introduces by IB make.
More trades – higher %.
Advantages
You know exact amount of money earned per introduced client.
Disadvantages
Paid only once per client.
This scheme is mostly suitable for the people who do not want to spend much time helping, training and guiding introduced clients, and who are focused on the immediate results.
Volume based
For every client trading you receive fixed amount of money for every closed trade.
Longer client trade’s more trades it make – more commission you earn.
More volume clients under IB are making higher the commission for every trade placed.
Advantages
Large client base can generate very stable and very high income every month for unlimited period of time.
Disadvantages
Time consuming, IB need to motivate clients to trade and provide them support, however it gives you good option to learn what your clients need and how to build your own business, which can be your own Investment company or Hedge fund.
This scheme is focused on long term relations and creation of your own business reputation, result is not immediate, but in the long run is much higher than “flat fee” scheme. As well it is a perfect option for knowledgeable people who are promoting their own related to trading business, like Expert Advisors resell and creation, trading signals, money management, market research and analysis, etc.
